Rapid Prototype Fabrication
Duke Empirical employs state of the art rapid prototype technology to bring our client’s products to life. Using both Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Direct Light Projection (DLP) processes, our designers are able to create high-resolution functional models in a variety of materials. These models are exceptionally useful for a number of applications, including:
- Early Stage prototypes
- Evaluation of design ergonomics
- Pre-clinical evaluation of development products
- Fabrication of manufacturing jigs and tooling
- Resolution as fine as .0005”
- Components as large as 5.5” X 7.5” X 9.0”
- High Strength ABS or Acrylic resins are available
- Embossed logos in bold colors on the surface of your part
